ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Sharan Balani was born & raised in the city of Malaga located in the south of spain. Having always had a vivid imagination & passion for the arts he often found himself immersed in a world of stories & fantasies often having an addiction towards reading, videogames & various forms of viusual arts. However having enjoyed photography in his younger years it wasnt till he recieved his first semi DSLR fujifilm camera that he truly got into photography. Initially sharan dedicated his time more to taking landscape & cadid portraits, however as he grew older and discovered the depths of photography that he truly found a passion in people & flash as a way to truly express himself. Sharan is a firm believer that photography like any artform can not only be an interpretation of something that already exists, but also a true platform in which art can be created from scratch much like a painting or a drawing.

Sharan is a hard worker and always looking for ways to improve his photography, be it through numerous classes + private photoshoots to asking to work with another photographer. He believes that every artist has a different view on the world & it is important to try to understand them to progress as an artist. After all as Oscar Wilde said, "An artist often sees the world in a strange & obscure manner for if he didnt he wouldnt be an artist at all"
